In the book "Polly" the author did a great job dealing with and describing kid emotions and feelings. The author vividly described places and situations helping the reader to be there with the main character. The author dealt with real life situations for kids and gives them positive options of dealing with tough situations. The illustrations are wonderful and add the perfect opportunity for a kid's imagination to fill in the story.
The book "Polly"is an amazing children's book with very beautiful detailed illustrations. The book is uplifting, realistic and a loving Christian story. I enjoyed it very much.

Those of us who are educators can identify with Polly as we see the struggles and successes of our students. The author has created a character who is realistic, loveable, and kind. This is a wonderful story for children to read as they discover faith, the love of a family, and genuine friendship.
